Commonly available superglue (cyanoacrylate) works great for PLA. We have good experience with Cosmofix, but most other cyanoacrylates will work fine.
Q
What is the difference between Shore 40D and Shore 45D?
A
The Shore number is a measure for the hardness of the FlexPolyEster (FPE) the higher the number the harder the material. Shore 40D is comparable with the hardness of a sportshoe sole, while Shore 45D is more like a skate board wheel.
Q
What is the best way to store 3D printing filaments?
A
In general: a dry (low relative humidity), dust-free, dark space. Our reclosable bags are excellent for long term storage. With refreshment of the silica gel it is probably the best way to store your filaments. Why? Plastics tend to absorp moisture from air, and moisture can cause several problems during printing, from oozing to polymer chain degradation.
